   I went to an AI meetup this week in London ('AI Tinkerers'). One of the speakers said:
   
   "based on first principles, models will get dramatically better in 6 months".

   
   He confused ‘first principles’ with ‘gigantic assumption’.

   
   I'm very pro-AI. But I'm not seeing leaps in underlying intelligence. We likely need new models. Speaking from first principles, human language doesn't capture all the information in our world.

   It's better than Django Rest Framework. It's a bit like FastAPI, but for Django. Use React with Django Ninja (including Auth) in 15 mins ⚡️

   I tried out a portable air conditioner to deal with the heat this week. It's like having a jet engine next to my head while I sleep. I wouldn't recommend it! I’m sending its 25kg back.
